Follow this link to register as a seller. Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully(on the sign-up page) before signing up.
You will have to verify your email address after you sign-up as a seller.This can be done by following the instructions sent to the email used during registration.
Once registered, our team will activate your account after reviewing it, until then you will only be able to access your profile page on the seller portal.

Registration is FREE, you can setup your shop, upload up-to 50 products, free of cost.
There is no lock-in, no commissions and you can opt out any time or pause your store just by notifying us.
We do not charge any commissions and solely rely on donations. Please reach out if you wish to donate.
To make for our operational costs there is a cap on number of products you can upload.

Standard CC transaction charges apply per sale. Online payment processors charge us 2.7% of the order total + $0.30. These charges apply to every sale including the shipping costs.
We will notify you 15 days in advance if we plan to change our pricing in future.

After you have registered, your details will be sent to our internal team for review. You can only access your profile page until you are approved.
Make sure you verify your account by confirming your email address. This can be done by following the instructions sent to the email used during registration.
Once you are approved, below are the next steps:
MADEinNZ.co.nz only provides a platform to help NZ based sellers to reach out to buyers online. We do not provide any shipping services. We rely on our sellers to arrange for and provide shipping for any orders placed with them.
As a seller, it is your responsibility to configure and arrange shipping. However, we might add shipping method in future if demand from our sellers arise.
1. Seller registers with MADEinNZ.co.nz to setup a shop.
2. Seller configures shipping method they provide in the system.
3. Seller upload products and select a shipping method for each product.
4. MADEinNZ team enables the product and it becomes available on the website.
5. Customer orders the product.You will receive an email for the order placed.
6. You can also regularly check the orders from Orders>Order Listing on seller portal.
7. You pack and ship the items, enter tracking details in the system for the order and mark the order as Fulfilled in the system. (It is important to use a tracked courier to ship the items. We cannot process payouts if a shipment is not tracked and lost or damaged.)
8. This will send an automated email to end customer with all details.
9. Once the order is delivered, please make sure you mark the order as 'Delivered' in the system.
10. After the return period is over, MADEinNZ will payout to you as per the payment method defined by you in your profile.
Login to your seller account.
Fill in all the information under the Profile section for My Account.
Add a banner image, logo and seller image.
Click on View Profile to see your profile on MADEinNZ.co.nz website.
This is your shop's public URL, which can be shared and used to showcase the products on your shop.
Also add Payment Details under My Account.
Select a payment method and enter details of the account you want MADEinNZ to pay you into.
You can either send us an email with shipping details(rates etc.) or follow below steps to setup shipping yourself for your shop on the website.
Navigate to Configuration > Shipping Configuration.
Choose from the shipping methods already configured by MADEinNZ and customize them further to add shipping rates.
You need to enable the shipping method to be able to further modify them as per your need.
Once enabled, click on View.
There are two steps involved in configuring the shipping that you offer to MADEinNZ customers.
Create a Range, based on order total or based on item weight.
for example: $0 to $100 - Shipping Rates = $10 this means shipping costs for orders between this range will be $10. Shipping Range is very important for a shipping method. You cannot access a shipping method without any shipping range. So you have to set atleast one range for the shipping method. You can set upto a maximum of eight ranges for a shipping method.
Here's an example to understand the lower and upper limits of a defined range:
Range 1 (1-10kg) - here the upper limit is 10.99kg
Range 2 (11-20kg) - here the upper limit is 20.99kg
So, product A of weight 10.75kg will be covered under the range 1 (1-10kg)
Next step is to create a Shipping Method, for example based on country, MADEinNZ configured a default Standard Shipping category based on Country(NZ and Australia are added into it), you can simply enable that and modify the rates if needed.
You can also add more countries.
Only countries that you add here will be available on store for your products shipping. If a customer’s address doesn’t match these countries, then the shipping will not be calculated using the shipping calculator on store.

You can also create different shipping method within the country.
Once you have configured shipping method(s), please add a shipping method to the products on your shop.
Also, please make sure you leave the 'Requires Shipping' box ticked(on the 'Add product' screen) if you want shipping to be calculated for any orders that placed on your shop .Please let us know if you need help with setting up shipping.

Store pick-up is now available.
You can configure and add options for both Store-pickup and Delivery for your products.
From the seller portal, Navigate to Configuration > Store Pickup Configuration.
Activate the store pickup by toggling the box for 'Want store pickup' and 'Save changes'.
A pop-up will appear to create a location for pick-up. You can create multiple pickup locations.
Add your pickup address and go back to Configuration > Store pickup configuration.
Select the option 'Specific Product' for 'Configure For' and
Select the option 'Store pickup +Delivery' for 'Customer option for product'.
And that's it, you have now activated the store-pickup option.
Now you will get a new option called PRODUCT FOR STORE PICKUP under 'Shipping Details' for each product where you can choose the appropriate option.
Also, Select 'Standard shipping' under 'Shipping method' for each product so that shipping rates can be calculated in case the customer choose the shipping option.

Navigate to Products>Products Listing.
Once you upload the products, they will sit in the Pending queue until our team approves them. Please make sure you have shipping method associated with the product, customers can't order your products if there is no shipping method for them.
You can add variants for products from the Add product page. You can use this feature to add variants of the same product at one go rather than uploading the same product multiple times with different variants.
The easiest way to add variants is while adding a product.
From Dashboard > Products > Products Listing > Add Product. On this page, under 'variant details', click on Add Variant.
Add Variants like Size, Color, Material, Fragrance etc., this will help buyers to filter products quickly. You can type in the Variant option name if it is not available in the drop down.
Once added, you can edit variants to change Price or other details for a variant.
You can also add variants after you added a product. Simply go to Edit page of the product and add variant.

You can import your products in bulk using a csv file.
Navigate to Products > Product Listing.
You will find a button labelled More Actions.
Click on Add Products by CSV.
There are instructions to upload products by CSV and you can download a sample CSV(spreadsheet) format.

Currently, we only accept CC payments on the marketplace. But our team is working on implementing the bank transfer. We will notify all of our sellers once this is implemented succesfully.
